Most people do not realize that although joining a gym or buying fitness equipment may seem like the right decision to get fit but the mind takes things very literally so it is good to set some goals beyond just getting that membership.

Here are some TIPS for getting your goals going! Goals must be:
1. Written
2. Your own
3. Positive (sounds obvious but most people write down “lose weight”- this is what you are trying to avoid- not what you are moving towards)
4. Measurable and specific
5. Stated in the most visible terms available
6. Contain a deadline
7. Allow for personality changes
